From Marlous

I was utterly delighted to receive Marlous' letter today as part of her letter-writing project - and look at all the goodies inside! Thank you so much Marlous, for sending me these vintage (?) stamps, stickers, tea, and so much more! Also, thanks for writing a few Dutch phrases for me. I love all of the things you sent me! I don't think I've mentioned that I liked tea in the letter I sent to you, but thank you very much for sending me a bag of tea anyway - I'll make sure to use it for tomorrow's tea!  And you even decorated the letter itself with lots of japanese washi tape and stamps. Ahhh this totally made my day! I really reaaaaaaalllly love it! ;D

I'll try to write back to you as soon as I can! *squealing*

Letter-writing.

Today I had quite some free time on my hands so I thought I might do some letter-writing to some of my friends - I had a lot of fun decorating the envelopes. I also got to use some of the stationery which I bought from my trip to Korea. Although they were too pretty to use, I figured that I might actually have another chance to get some more of the stationery, so there you go! xx

P.S. I just started a new blog. Will post more on that sometime in the future.

Writing loveletters.

I love writing and receiving letters. I think letter-writing is a form of art. I wish people would send me more - I wish my mailbox was filled to the brim with handwritten letters each unique in terms of colours, the handwriting, the stamps. It's like each letter that I receive tells a different story.

And then there are the postcards that I receive from all over the world, each has a picture depicting a different  place I've never been before, places I see through somebody else's eyes. They make me long for some adventure while I'm stuck at home staring outside the window when I've got nothing to burn my time with. It also makes me more determined to explore the world one day.

xx
